Meet The Founder

Hi, I’m Pax Tandon.

My purpose is awakening people to a more conscious relationship with themselves, each other, and the living world.

For me, this work is deeply personal. My own experience with depression as a teenager helped shape the questions that would guide my life’s work: What helps us feel whole? How do we find meaning? And what becomes possible when we learn to understand our inner world?

That search led me to study the science of human flourishing. I hold three degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, including a master’s in Applied Positive Psychology, and I’m the author of Mindfulness Matters. My background brings together academic study, training in mindfulness and yoga, and a deeply personal exploration of spirituality and purpose.

Today, my work is focused on teenagers, at a time when their relationship with themselves and the world is taking shape.

Through Mindfulness Matters, I help young people develop practical skills to navigate pressure, understand their emotions, protect their attention, and make choices rooted in their own values. We also make room for the deeper questions: Who am I? What matters to me? What am I here to contribute?

This work is one expression of a greater mission: helping create a world where we live with greater awareness, lead with integrity, and recognize our responsibility to one another and the living planet.

I see the next generation as a powerful place to begin. When young people learn to trust themselves, care for their well-being, and act with purpose, those capacities can shape their relationships, their communities, and the future they help create.
