Tandon holds a Master’s Degree in Positive Psychology from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from the Wharton Schoolof the University of Pennsylvania with a dual degree in Psychology from the college.

Born in West Philadelphia to devoted parents, her seemingly perfect life was shattered at the age of 14 when the onslaught of major depression paralyzed her.  Tandon broke free from depression during her experience on “Rap Around,” a local teen talk show. It gave her perspective on debilitating issues other teens were facing, and her ability to help and be helped by her peers.  She had found her passion and calling in life: to use the media to help others flourish, specifically teens and young adults.

Tandon spent several years as a news anchor, host and producer at CNBC-TV18 in India. She also hosted “Spotlight on Bollywood” for Spotlight TV, and “Bollywood Hour” for JKS TV, both in New York City. She has made several appearances on Veria Living programs including “Over the Hump” and “Workout from Within.”  She has also been recruited for International radio appearances, including “Weekend Blend with Orla Barry,” and “Lunchtime with Eamon Keene.”  Pax is proud to lend her face and voice to Intellistreets, a lighting technology solution that has the potential to revolutionize the synthesis of safety, operations and entertainment across the globe.

Currently, Tandon is working on a pilot project where she guides local Philadelphia teens and their families to wellness using holistic methods, mindfulness and positive psychology. She sees traditional therapy approaches as working through obstacles. Using positive psychology, she places the emphasis on working around issues to garner quick results and happier people.  Tandon coaches the teens and as transformations begin, they flourish and grow.
